As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Olenick and Mary E. Polovick Olenick; his son John R. "Bobby" Olenick; his daughter-in-law Catherine Garger; his granddaughter Jennifer Olenick; and his brother Don Olenick.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Finzer Olenick; his sons, Thomas L. Olenick of Manheim and Richard Olenick of Havelock, NC; his granddaughters, Krystal and Olivia Olenick; and his brothers, Joe (Linda Olenick) of Mogadore, OH and Mike.
