He was predeceased by: his parents, Elion Wentzel and Esther Wentzel (Sensenig); his spouse Erla S. Wentzel (Schmid); and his siblings, Elion Wentzel and Mary Kirk.
He is survived by: his children, David Wentzel (Joan) of Suches, GA, Bradley Wentzel (Shirley) of Manheim and Kathleen Boycan (Brian) of Manheim; and his brother Robert Wentzel of Halifax. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
