He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry F. Adams and Erma Adams (Reitz); his daughter Joy Huhn; and his former life partner Judith Lemon Herr. He is survived by : his wife Dolores Klaips-Adams; his stepchildren, Leighan (Noah Melnick), Jim Klaips and Michael (Marian Klaips); his son-in-law Norm Huhn; his grandchildren, Madison Melnick, Preston, Ella, Rylie Mia, Delaney Saniya Klaips, Adrian (Alexa Schreiber), Brendan and Brianna Huhn; his great grandchildren, Parker and Cian; his sister-in-law Maryann Batory; his sisters, Vicky (Lloyd Witmer) and V. Cheryl Lausch; and his close friends, Ronald Kelsey, V. Patrick (Jane Adams) and Venessa (Nathan Buckwalter).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
