He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William A. Sr. Sloat and Theda DeShong Sloat; his wife Elaine Nauman Sloat; his children, Brian Sloat of San Diego, CA and Stacy Sloat (Stephanie Sheidy) of Lebanon; and his brother William A. II (Evelyn Sloat) of Ephrata.
