It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald L. Young of Manheim, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Shelley and Dora Shank Shelley; his son Brandon L. Young; and his brothers, Jerry Young and Lester Shelley Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sara Merkey "Sally" Young; his son Nicholas (Penny) of Hummelstown; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Brianna; his sister Sandra (Richard Foster) of Fayetteville; and his sister-in-law Patsy Shelley of Lititz.
