He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. Hummer and Anna K. Cassel Hummer; his wife Donna L. Burd Hummer; his son Robert S. Hummer; his stepson Timothy Wagner; his grandsons, Eric Wagner and Andrew Meier; and his siblings, J. Robert Hummer, E. Eugene Hummer, Charles L. Hummer and Mary Jane Balmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, LuAnn (Anthony Cicero) of Denver, Deborah Webster of Manheim and Barbara (Rick Meier) of Elizabethtown; his stepson Donald Wagner; his close friends, Diane Rettew of Columbia, Michael Wagner of Lancaster, Steven (Mary Jo Wagner) of Millersville and Brian Wagner of Menlo Park, CA; and his siblings, Glenn C. (Kathy Hummer) of Manheim, Ann L. Graybill of Manheim, Nancy C. Waltz of Manheim and Carol J. Hummer of Manheim. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
