He is survived by: his children, Jody D. Smith of Manns Choice and Daniel H. (Joyce (Rhodes) Smith) of Schellsburg; his grandchildren, Benjamin Smith and Hannah Smith; his cousin Barry Wertz of Bedford; and his pet Daisy.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Brethren Bible Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
