He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Barnett and Ella Barnett (Iser); his brother James R. Barnett; his sister-in-law Shirley Barnett; and his grandson Cody Wayne Barnett.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Barnett of Manns Choice, Lisa (Tom Cairo) of Bedford and Brian Barnett of Manns Choice; his former wife Dorothy J. (McVicker) of Snake Spring; his daughter-in-law Bobbie Jo Barnett of Bedford; and his grandchildren, Jessica Barnett, Amie Lindemann (Leo), Sara Cairo and Carter Sabo. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
