He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin M. Benson and Matilda C. Benson (Silvasy); and his brother Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Sara L. Benson (Uhlig); his sons, Ryan H. Benson (Valerie) and Cory J. Benson (Claudine); his grandchildren, Logan, Lucas, Hunter, Olivia and Harper Benson; his brothers, Jamie, Jack and Tim Benson; and his friend Sally Colosimo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
