She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Herbst; her parents, Goldie V. Quaintance (Shue) and Harry Quaintance; and her sons, Glenn, Gary and Greg.
She is survived by: her close friend John Heydt; and her daughter Patty Lynn. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
