He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tate Alecxih and Vida Alecxih Shank; his brother Donald Alecxih; and his stepbrother John Shank. He is survived by: his wife Sara Herr Alecxih (Sally); his children, Karen Worral (David), Jane Boyd (Mark), Peter Alecxih (Alecia), Beth Simpson (William), Sarah Bauder, Sandra Beers (Bruce) and James Alecxih (Teresa); and his nephews, Donald, Bruce and Michael Alecxih. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (616 Locust St, Columbia, PA 17512). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
