He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy A. Bitner; his parents, Howard W. Bitner and Cletus S. Gill Bitner; and his siblings, Ross C. Kline and Arvada Christian.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Bitner (Bev), Jeff Bitner (Cheryl), Jim Bitner (Rachel) and Dwayne Bitner (Renee).
