He was predeceased by : his parents, William K. Hill and Elizabeth Hill (Cullighon); and his siblings, Harry Hill, William Hill, Harriet McPherson, Virginia Elcock and Gary L. Hill.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Elaine Hill (Smith); his children, Robert J. Hill Jr. (Andrea) of Harmony, Kelly Caruso (Rob) of Trafford and Amy Hill-Persia of Trafford; his grandchildren, Natalie Caruso, Dr. Kylan Hill (Rachel), Rob Caruso Jr., Dr. Alissa Hayden (Daniel), Angela Persia and Frankie Persia; his great grandchildren, Kylan Hill II, Harper Hill and Henry Hill; and his brothers, Wayne Hill of Forest Hills and Roy R. Hill of Turtle Creek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
