He was predeceased by: his parents, James Schreckengost and Jennie Schreckengost (Rosenberger); his grandchildren, Kayla and Lacy Shaffer; his siblings, Cecil, Jim, Homer Schreckengost, Anna Mae Dunmire, Mary August, Violet Daniels and Betty Fry; and his son-in-law David Brice.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Schreckengost (Kline); and his children, Rose Colwell (John), Keith Shaffer (Cheryl), Samuel Schreckengost, Jr. (Chris), Tammy Brice, Cindy Walker (Tim), Barry Shaffer (Danna) and Homer Schreckengost (Kelly). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Manor Township VFD would be appreciated.
