He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Charles and May Fisher Frey; and his brothers, Wilson and Randall Frey. He is survived by: his wife Arlene "Lena" Frey (Thrush); his children, Chad Frey and Lynell (Tim Shawaryn); his grandchildren, Megan, Jack and Benjamin; and his siblings, Janna (Vince Books) and Quintin (Cheryl (Cline) Frey).
