With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet W. Hale of Mansfield, Pennsylvania, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard M. Wilson and Lois E. Buck Wilson; her husband Donald M. Hale; and her close friend Cheryl Trowbridge Mattison. She is survived by : her sister Sally Ann Wilson Smith of Mansfield; her children, Richard E. Hale of Scotia, NY and Tracy Hale Durand (Kenny) of Vancleave, MS; her grandchildren, Samantha Durand Miller (Kanin), Shelby Durand, Beth Durand Carter, Emily Hale and Christopher Hale; her great grandchildren, Colton, Ryland and River; her siblings-in-law, Jean Griffin (Paul) and Edward Hale (Scott); her niece Anne Griffin Goralski (Jim); and her close friends, Kathy Brodrick and Joanie Allen Gibel. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
