It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmela A. DiBenedetto (Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 30, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmela A. DiBenedetto to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Iacono and Maria Iacono; her brothers, Rafaelle Iacono and Agostino Iacono; and her former husband Tulio Del Bove.
She is survived by: her daughter Lia Marta; her son-in-law Mike Marta; her granddaughter Laura Moore (Tom Moore); her great grandchildren, Owen, Aubrey and Logan; her siblings, Maria Iacono, Aldo Iacono (Ester) and Giovanni Iacono (Gaetana); and her sister-in-law Josephine Ferro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (21 W 8th St, Marcus Hook, PA 19061). A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
