He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McMullan and Margo Berckman; and his brothers, George, Gordie, Raymond and John McMullan.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kate" McMullan; his stepson Ryan Shomo (Brittany); his stepgrandchildren, Lachlan and Raelyn; and his sister Margo Green.
In order to help those suffering from cancer and heart disease, Mike made the decision to donate his body to scientific research.
