He is survived by: his children, Doris Bell (Thomas) and Robert Bowers, Jr. (Terry); and his granddaughters, Sara Nichols, Amber Bell (Sander), Krista Bowers-Wheeler and Rachel Bowers-Brill. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
