She was predeceased by: her parents, George F. Sr. Keener and Thelma Keener (Roth); her husband James Russell "Jim" Waite; and her siblings, George F. Keener Jr. and Amanda F. Lesher.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Waite (Yvonne) of Elizabethtown, Roger Waite (Heather) of Elizabethtown, George Waite (Tina) of Centerville and Robin Embly; her close friend Thomas Haas of Harrisburg; and her sisters, Nancy Gordon of Greenville, GA, Charity Alemklembus (Robert) of Ashland, PA, Dawn Lutz (Alan) of Richland, PA and Rose Keener of Richland, PA.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
