He was predeceased by: his father John Thompson; his daughter Sarah Lynn; and his nieces, Tara Nicole and Toni Michelle Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Dortha Thompson (Shaffer); his wife Kathleen Thompson (Smead); his daughters, Julie Ann and Kara Noel; his brothers, Douglas (Nola) and Frederick (Debbie); and his nieces, Tonya Ackley, April Huyler and Holly Thompson. He is also survived by five great nephews and three great nieces.
