It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Etta Nicklow of Markleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Kreger and Elsie Kreger; her husband Howard Joseph Nicklow; and her brother Scott Kreger Jr.. She is survived by: her brothers, Jack and Richard Kreger; her aunt Sarah Singo; her sisters-in-law, Cora Lee Tressler (Nicklow) and Shirley Hoffman (Nicklow); her children, Kaye Baker (David) of Garrett, PA, Jill Alexander (Kyle) of Lynchburg, VA, Perry Nicklow (Connie) of High Point, NC, Greta Ansell (John) of Irwin, PA and Paula Cook (Aaron) of Harrisonburg, VA.; and her friend Sue Kotok. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church (112 Beachley St, Meyersdale, PA 15552). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at the Old Bethel Church Cemetery (227 Old Bethel Rd, Markleton, PA 15551).
