Henry Mitchell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Mitchell of Markleysburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Mitchell and Alice Mitchell (Boyd); his wife Shirley V. Mitchell; and his siblings, Bill Mitchell, Sonny Mitchell, Norm Mitchell, Glenn Mitchell and Fanny Mitchell.
He is survived by: his sons, Henry Mitchell Jr. (Brenda) of Markleysburg and Jason Mitchell (Jamie) of Uniontown; his grandchildren, Ashley Danko (Troy), Bethany Spinetti (Nathan), Zachary Mitchell (Rachel), Eli Mitchell (Jalyn) and Anna Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Mary Jarrell of Markleysburg. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gospel Center Church (166 Main St, Markleysburg, PA 15459). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Thomas Cemetery (227 Brown Hill Rd, Markleysburg, PA 15459).
