It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joseph A. Stinger of Markleysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 79, on July 3, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Stinger and Mildred Stinger; and his siblings, Viola Mildred (George), Clara Bohatch, Eli Stinger (Carol), Walter Raymond Stinger, Cleota Grant, Ruth Prugh, Doris Wolfe, Louise Pascale, Thelma Arneson, Shirley Ann Stinger and Philip "Bill" Stinger.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his daughter Nicole (John); his grandson Auggie; his daughter Amanda (Ian); his granddaughters, Sylvia and Stella; and his siblings, Emil Stinger (Geraldine) of Uniontown, PA and Wanda Field of Uniontown, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home (4222 National Pike, Farmington, PA 15437). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Shady Grove Cemetery (17840 WV-26, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525).
