She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lewis and Sarah Tyger Lewis; her husband William W. Shiperly; and her siblings, Marylou Griffith, Jean Ryan, Blanche Lewis and David Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Shiperly (Elizabeth) of Mars and Sally Shiperly Ault (Donald) of Loris, SC; her grandson Max James Sundquist of Loris, SC; her stepdaughter Rita Wicht (Steve); and her siblings, Rosie Hicks and Pete Lewis. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
