She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Earl and Mildred L. Wolfe Bowser; her son Robert L. Kalan, Jr.; her granddaughter Erica Jean Kalan; and her sisters, Shirley VanBuren and Dorothy Bowser.
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Kalan, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Stephen Kalan (Leah) of Mars, Victoria Kalan Petrie (Brandon) of Pittsburgh and Kevin Kalan of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
