He is survived by: his wife Janice Nicklas Schmitt; his daughters, Dana Schmitt of St. Petersburg, FL. and Linda Stanell of St. Petersburg, FL.; his stepdaughter Janine Jones of Middlesex Twp; his sister Lynn Mason; his nephew Gary Massimino (Mary) of Hampton Twp; his niece Lynn Mason; and his sister-in-law Alliene Lees (Jim) of Mars.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mars United Presbyterian Church.
