He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine "Kate" (Smith); and his parents, Van Diehl and Katherine Yetter (Froelich). He is survived by: his son Van D. Yetter, Jr. (Eileen) of Marshalls Creek; his granddaughter Sofia; and his siblings, John Yetter of East Stroudsburg, Ann Rosenberg of Philadelphia and Jean Yetter of East Stroudsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
