He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. DeArment and Beulah M. DeArment (Foss); and his siblings, Robert L. DeArment and Beulah Weight. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Margie" G. DeArment (Koontz); his son Daniel DeArment (Rena) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Elise and Evan; and his sibling's children, Shirley Gates, Carolyn Montgomery, Jeffrey Weight, Robert L. DeArment Jr., Richard DeArment, Joan Coppes, Linda Shaub and Debbie Koontz.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bedford Methodist Church (132 E John St, Bedford, PA 15522). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
