He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Litzinger and Agnes Litzinger (Kruise); his siblings, Rita Delpierre, Eileen Litzinger and Joe Litzinger; his son-in-law Trooper Landon E. Weaver; and his pet Willow.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Gottshall Litzinger (Miller); his children, Jennifer Anderson (Bob) of St. Lawrence and Chief Warrant Officer 3 James Litzinger (Anna) of Fort Drum, NY; his stepchildren, Kyle Gottshall (Skyler) of Roaring Spring and Macy Beal (Jeff) of Martinsburg; his grandchildren, Malia, Ryan, Henry, Abigail, Dominick, Brayden, Gabriel, Juliana and Beckett; and his close friend Joe Zurenko (Dianne Litzinger).
