He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Houp and Irene Houp (Weyant); his wife Hazel Viola Snively; and his siblings, Donald Houp and Betty Keagy.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven C. Houp of Woodbury and Barry E. Houp (Robin) of Ore Hill; and his grandchildren, Jason Houp, Justin Houp (Chelsea), Shane Houp, Brendan, Trisha, Rochelle and Remmy.
