It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Wineland of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Raymond shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Raymond farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Betsyann Wineland (Mock); his daughter Melissa Ann Campbell (Kevin Lavon) of Cumberland, MD; his grandchildren, Ashlan Rayne Thompson (Stas Lipinski) and Derek Braden Thompson (Hallee Lewun); his sister Helen Teeters Baker; his close friend Herman Edwards (Bonnie); his brother Donald Hoover (Candy); and his son Tim Laird (Jessi). He is also survived by several nieces/nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bice Memorial Chapel - Homewood Living Martinsburg (437 Givler Dr, Martinsburg, PA 16662). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
