As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Walters and Esther Walters (Ritchey); her son Jeremy J. Berkheimer; and her sisters, Kay Lynch and Cheryl Simington.
She is survived by: her son Josh Berkheimer of Hollidaysburg; and her grandchildren, Mason and Madison. She is also survived by her cousins; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sorge Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (422 N Juniata St, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
