He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. P. and Irene H. Wolf; his siblings, Loyd and Dorothy; his brother-in-law Allison Mowat; his nephew Dennis Bailey Sr.; and his son Allison Bartholomew.
He is survived by: his wife Alice M. Wolfe; his children, April Wilber-Griest (Samuel Griest), Walter E. Wolfe Jr. of Marysville, Nathan Wolfe (Dusty) of Marysville and Deiter of Marysville; his grandchildren, Dylan Griest (Wendy McCoy), Corbin Griest, Mallory Griest, Correy Wolfe (Ryan Roberts) of Camp Hill and Taylor Wolfe Waple (David Waple) of Enola; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Finnick Waple and Dillon Wolfe.
