It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Opalka (Matamoras, Pennsylvania), born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on May 29, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Opalka to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his husband Betty; his children, Rosemarie Chromey (William) of North Haledon, Michele DeCiuceis (Christopher) of Stillwater, John Opalka (Chelsee) of Dingman and Elizabeth Poplawski (Edward) of Clifton; and his siblings, Joan Stout of Barnegat, Andrew Opalka of North Carolina and Patricia Opalka. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
