We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023, at the age of 92, Richard A. Beggs of Maxatawny, Pennsylvania, born in Confluence, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Beggs (Knight) and Charles D. Beggs; his son Peter; and his siblings, Walter, Elayne Kemp, Dorothy Beggs, Helen Rainey and Martha Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Humbert); his daughter Tracey; and his son-in-law Gregg Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Turkeyfoot Valley Historical Society, 600 Logan Place, Confluence, PA 15424.
