It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Jesse Martz of Mayport, Pennsylvania, born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank W. Martz and Geraldine A. Martz (Burns); his siblings, Mary Martz, Lois Snyder, Martha Ames and Robert Martz; his son-in-law Kenny Haag; and his stepson Bryan Henry.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa Haag-Smith (Tony) of Punxsutawney and Kevin Martz (Danielle) of Yakima; his stepson Brenton Henry (Patricia) of New Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Wyatt Martz, Meghan Martz, Jesse Haag (Kaeley), Cory Haag, Belle Henry, Dillon Henry and Zoe Henry; his great grandchildren, Lillian Haag and Rowan Martz; and his siblings, Gladys Shaffer of Ringgold and Bill Martz (Betty) of Ringgold.
