He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Carl Ritzman and Marian Ritzman (Adams); his wife Cornelia Ritzman (Horning); his brothers, Harry Ritzman, Joseph "Joe" Ritzman and Denton "Fuz" Ritzman; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Ritzman and Shirley Ritzman.

He is survived by: his sons, Robin A. Ritzman (Valerie) of Akron, OH, Mark N. Ritzman (Penny) of Millerstown and James D. Ritzman (Tambra) of Thompsontown; his grandchildren, Kurt Ritzman (Chloe), Holly Beall (Mark), Christy Krahel (John), Karis Ritzman, Hannah Schilthuis (Michael) and Elizabeth Strawser (Brad); his great grandchildren, Ivy Beall, Natalie Schilthuis, Nathan Schilthuis, Hope Schilthuis and Felicity Krahel; his siblings, Earl Ritzman (Cindy) of Thompsontown, Jane Cook of Port Royal, Samuel Ritzman (Sharon) of Mifflintown and Susan Mitchell of Gettysburg; and his sister-in-law Mary Ritzman of McAlisterville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
