She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Price Lyter and Sarah Margaret Lyter (Pecht); her husband Orval Robert "Bob" Ritter; and her siblings, Maurice Lyter, Jean Weikle, Grace Wieder, Wayne Lyter and Earl Lyter.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy L. McDaniel of York and Connie L.; her son-in-law Joseph Laudermilch of Hummelstown; her grandchildren, Erin McDaniel, Justin McDaniel (Lisa) and Joshua Laudermilch (Marsha); and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Peyton Laudermilch and Richard.
