He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde C. "Butch" Wagner and Pearl E. Wagner (Searer); his sister Sally J. Fisher (Leon); and his brothers-in-law, Baird Hawk and Gerald Botdorf.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria E. Hawk; his sons, Trent A. Wagner (Sherryl) and Craig A. Wagner (Greta); his grandchildren, Garrett Wagner (Natalie), Lauren, Payne and Chloe Wagner; his great grandchildren, Judah, Micah and Waylon; his brother Joe Wagner (Debra); and his sister-in-law Harriet Botdorf.
