He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Himes Sr. and B. Helen Himes (Colyer); and his brother-in-law Richard Junk. He is survived by: his sister Karen C. Junk of Honey Grove; his niece Traci Fowler (Shawn); his nephew Michael Junk (Buffie) of Honey Grove; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachael Clark, Carl Fowler, Luke Fowler and Adalynn Junk; and also, Raelynn, Gia and Gryffin Clark.
