With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paulette Marie Helen Reed of McClure, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Zekl and Marie Justine (Vadel); and her brother Bernard Zekl. She is survived by: her husband Melvin'Mel'Reed of McClure; her daughter Sandy Dedmon (Steve) of McClure; her grandson Thomas Egolf (Helen); her great grandchild Alex Egolf of Reedsville; and her siblings, Elizabeth Baton of Sainte Genevieve, France and Jean-Jacques Zekl (Martine) of Auxerre, France. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (106 N Dorcas St, Lewistown, PA 17044).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown.
