He was predeceased by: his wife Karin Fitzgerald (Haffley); his parents, Nelson P. Fitzgerald and Marion Fitzgerald (Fenstamacher); and his siblings, Carmen Michael Fitzgerald and Rose Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Heather Hockenberry of Port Royal and Renai Roy of Middletown; and his sisters, Sandra Leister (Jack) of McClure and Hope Reich of McClure. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
