Ruth Yakamook Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Ruth Yakamook (McClure, Pennsylvania). Ruth, born on October 25, 1935, passed away on July 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Sr. Beatty and Elizabeth Beatty (Fesmire); her husband Paul Yakamook Sr. Paul; her great grandchild Leeland James Aitkins; her brother Joshua Beatty Jr.; and her sister-in-law Joan Beatty.

She is survived by: her children, Anna Opdyke (Mike Shehan), Paul Yakamook Jr. (Lisa), Stephanie Hollenbach (Dean), Steven A. Yakamook (Susan), Ruth Gearhart (Larry), Peter Yakamook (Kate Reed), Julia Yakamook (Scott Wentzel), Pauline Hummel (Jon) and Michael Yakamook (Colene); and her brother Ernest Beatty (Wilma). She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren.
