Ardella leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ardella’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Ardella will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin G. Gossard and Margaret Shoemaker (Goetz); her husband Mervin E. Shore; and her son Steven E. Shore. She is survived by: her sons, Richard E. Shore of McConnellsburg, PA and Gregory E. Shore of Orbisonia, PA.; her grandson Pumpkin (Steven M. Shore); and her brothers, Larry E. Shoemaker (Mildred) of Chambersburg, PA and Garry A. Shoemaker of McConnellsburg, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home (873 Lincoln Way W, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc. (873 Lincoln Way W, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233).
