With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Fred Stouffer of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Lemasters, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Fred left this world on October 20, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred H. Stouffer and Edna Stouffer (Meyers); his sister Marcelle Martin; and his granddaughter Randi-Jo Stitely. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl L. Stouffer (Bartola); his children, Carol A. Davis (Gary) of Franklin, WV, Jo A. Stouffer of Mercersburg, PA, Sue A. Thompson (Jerry) of Greencastle, PA and Andrew E. Stouffer of McConnellsburg, PA.; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Tucker, Kiernan, Stashia, Dayne, Caleb, Cheyann, Alicia and Kelli. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc. (873 Lincoln Way E, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, monetary donations in memory of Fred, may be made to Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA, 730 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
