He is survived by: his wife Linda DeShong; his daughter Chrystal Spayd (Chris); his grandsons, Derek Hetrick of Huntingdon, PA and Sylver Spayd of Huntingdon, PA; his siblings, Cheryl Querry (Raymond) of James Creek, PA, Dale Benson of Mount Union, PA and Dennis Benson of Fulton, NY.; his uncle Bud; and his aunt Dora Benson (Harry) of Waterfall, PA.
