He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Brown of McConnellsburg, PA; his children, Joan Carter of McConnellsburg, PA, John L. Brown Jr. of Columbia, PA, Jeff Brown of McConnellsburg, PA and Julie Brown of Holtwood, PA; and his siblings, Lougene Stevens of Ironville, PA, Barbara Kuhns of Columbia, PA, Sharon Strausbaugh of Silver Springs, PA and Alyce Brown of Columbia, PA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
