It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Mathern of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Waters and Goldie Mentzer Waters; her son Derwood Orr; her grandson Joshua Wilt Jr.; and her siblings, Sheldon Waters, Ronald Waters, Donald Waters, Gary "Buck" Waters and Judy Waters.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Mathern of McConnellsburg, PA; her daughters, Donna Clark (Gary) of Three Springs, PA and Colleen Kylor (Chance) of McConnellsburg, PA; her grandchildren, Braeden Kylor, Bryce Kylor, Brianna Kylor, Cassie Clark and Caleigh Clark; and her great grandchild Kolt Kylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Knobsville United Methodist Church (11146 Waterfall Rd, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
