She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Burling Thomas and Anna Mae Thomas (Anderson); her former husband William W. Conn (Bill); and her siblings, Leeda Mae Young of Newton Falls, OH, Emma Grace Sheats of Flemington, PA, Edward B. Thomas of Shippensburg, PA, Robert A. Thomas of McConnellsburg, PA, Josephine, Mary Martha and Joan.
She is survived by: her daughters, N. Diane Johnston (Tom) of McConnellsburg, PA, P. Janette Wolfe (Steven) of Shippensburg, PA and Patricia K. Hess (Denny) of Hustontown, PA.; and her husband Martin Marcus. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Knobsville United Methodist Church (11146 Waterfall Rd, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knobsville United Methodist Church, 11146 Waterfall Rd., McConnellsburg, PA 17233 or the Carmelite Community of the Word, 394 Bem Rd, Gallican, PA 16641.
